After open-heart surgery, chemotherapy treatment, radiation, and her lung being removed she continues to have a smile on her face and focused commitment to life. Despite the odds, Deborah remains a strong, forthright individual who is determined to overcome her illness and continue to be there for her husband and six children. Her unwavering commitment to providing access to high-quality education and fostering a love of learning in all children is truly an inspiration to all who know her.
